Sometimes our work brings us to a project that is going to make a huge difference in a community. It has just been announced that SCS Construction will be the general contractor for the construction of the new Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library (HMMPL) branch in Whitestown.

A library is the hub of much of the activity in a community and this one, designed by krM Architecture, will be fabulous. We are thrilled to be a part of it. We are also thrilled with the comment made by HMMPL Board of Trustees President Monty Korte.

“In addition to the most competitive pricing, we were impressed with SCS’s honesty, flexibility and dedication to meeting our needs,” HMMPL Board of Trustees President Monty Korte said in a press release. “In today’s volatile construction environment, these qualities are incredibly important. We look forward to working with SCS to build a library that will be a centerpiece for this community.”

SCS Construction has always approached every element of our work based on three values: Honesty, Integrity & Commitment. Every Customer, Every Time. Our vice president, Taylor Kennell, summed it up with this statement:

“We are honored to be selected for this project. This building has been designed with great focus and attention to community needs and desires. We are excited to be the builder who helps bring these designs to life.”

In the past, we have worked on many jobs, including some in the Lebanon area, and look forward to beginning this new 23,000 square-foot library project in April.
