Scott Kennell establishes SCS with a vision of building a commercial construction company grounded in integrity, quality craftsmanship, and lasting client relationships.

First construction management project
SCS serves as Construction Manager for the Decatur Township High School Rebuild, a landmark project that establishes the company’s reputation for successfully delivering complex public construction work.

From construction management firm to full-service contractor
SCS evolves into a full-service commercial general contractor. During this period, the company completes 29 Planet Fitness projects across seven states: Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. The repeat-client program strengthens SCS’s multi-state experience while the company expands into education, healthcare, municipal, industrial, retail, and tenant-improvement markets.
